About 65 to 100 million years ago, T. rex weighed up to 8 tons and grew up to 20 feet high and 50 feet long. Its skull was up to 5 feet long, its pointed teeth 6 inches long. An extra joint in the jaw enabled its mouth to accommodate extremely large prey. The first T. rex remains were found in Montana in 1902. This magnificently sculpted skull is 13 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 11 inches high. An oak display base, clear acrylic mounting post, and brass identification plaque are included.
